In the heart of Ghana’s farmlands, women are not just growing crops, they are cultivating resilience, economic progress, and generational change.
Despite producing 70% of the country’s subsistence crops and making up over half of the agricultural labor force, many women still face unequal access to land, tools, and training.
At Farm Yield Africa, we believe this must change.
That’s why we work side by side with women farmers, offering input support, access to credit, and training in sustainable farming and mechanization. When women are equipped with the resources they need, the results are transformative, not just for farms, but for families and communities.
Take Rebecca from the Gaani Upper Women Farmers Group in Navrongo. After losing her husband, she struggled to support her five children on just half an acre of land. Today, thanks to the support from Farm Yield Africa, Rebecca cultivates six acres and has diversified into soybeans. With her increased yields, she now feeds her family, sells at market, and pays school fees, all from her farm.
Stories like Rebecca’s are why we do what we do. Because when women grow, Ghana grows.
