Yaw Agyare

Yaw Agyare is an accomplished senior executive with over 20 years of leadership experience
spanning corporate and nonprofit sectors. His expertise lies in driving strategic growth,
operational excellence, and impactful solutions in agriculture and supply chain management.
As a Board Member and Executive Committee Member of FarmYield Africa, Yaw provides
governance and strategic oversight to advance the organization’s mission of empowering
smallholder farmers across the continent. In this role, he collaborates with leadership to shape
long-term objectives, ensure financial sustainability, and foster high-impact partnerships in the
agricultural sector.

Previously, as Acting CEO of FarmYield Africa, Yaw spearheaded initiatives that doubled farmer
productivity through innovative mechanization, micro-credit programs, and storage solutions,
significantly enhancing rural development and food security.

Yaw’s career highlights include managing daily operations for commodities valued at $250
million, securing a $10 million facility to expand food security initiatives, and building a robust
distribution network across Ghana. He has a proven track record in forging high-impact
partnerships and delivering measurable outcomes that benefit smallholder farmers and local
Economies.

A visionary leader, Yaw holds an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University and
a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Ghana. His
commitment to empowering African communities drives his mission to transform agriculture and
create sustainable growth.
