Emmanuel Nsobila is the Chief Operations Officer of FarmYield Africa, where he leads the organization’s day-to-day operations and strategic program implementation. He joined FarmYield as Finance Director and later transitioned into the role of COO, where he now oversees operational strategy, partnerships, and program delivery across the organization in the absence of a Chief Executive Officer.
With over a decade of experience in agribusiness operations, development finance, Banking and donor-funded program management, Emmanuel has managed projects totalling over US$24 million funded by leading development partners including USAID, the Ford Foundation, GIZ, Global Affairs Canada, and the European Union. He has built strong partnerships across the public and private sectors to deliver impactful programs in Ghana.
Emmanuel has mobilized funding and led initiatives that expand access to agricultural mechanization, strengthen rural livelihoods, and promote gender inclusion in agriculture, including training female tractor operators in Northern Ghana.
Before joining FarmYield Africa, he worked with GIZ Ghana on renewable energy and agricultural development initiatives and previously served as Regional Operations Officer at GN Bank, where he supervised operations across 18 branches in Northern Ghana. His leadership combines strong financial governance, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to building sustainable agricultural systems that improve smallholder farmer productivity and resilience.
